This July 30 and 31, Sail 4 Leukemia is celebrating 25 years with the Lake City Yacht Club!  In honor of this “Silver” Anniversary, dinner this year will be presented by Chef Jeremy Reineke.

In his early days, Chef Jeremy worked at Tim McKee’s Solera in Minneapolis, and Robert Mondavi and Julia Child’s COPIA in Napa Valley. Most recently he has served as Chef Instructor at Cordon Bleu and as Culinary Education Manager for the largest healthcare provider in Minnesota.

He teaches cooking classes through launchmyhealth.com, and if you’ve ever taken one of his classes, you know how much fun he is in the kitchen.

The menu will include:

Hand made Caesar Salad with Brioche Croutons, parmesan and black peper

Cajun Potato Salad  with Green Olive, Bell pepper and Capers

Great Northern BBQ Beans with maple and bacon

Memphis Stye BBQ Chicken with sweet smoked Paprika, brown sugar and Dijon

Peach Pit Pulled Pork Sliders with habanero, clove and allspice

Traditional gumbo with chicken, Andouille Sausage and Jasmine Rice

Chocolate Stout Brownie Bite with Raspberry and Cream.

This is a meal you don’t want to miss!  And remember, you do not have to be a S4L volunteer to register for dinner.  All LCYC members and guests are welcome.
