A four race regatta is planned. Saturday, July 2nd, 2 races , Sunday, July 3rd, 2 races ( 1 short, 1 longer with a downwind spinnaker finish).

Hello LCYC and PYC Sailors!
The Trans Pepin Race is scheduled for Saturday July 9, 2022, 1:00pm.
This race is open to all boats. It's always a lot of fun for both clubs!
We'll be setting a start-finish somewhere safely off Deer Island. The turning mark will be the navigation buoy off Long Point, unless weather or other conditions force an adjustment.
The skippers meeting will be held 11:00am Saturday at the LCYC clubhouse. The race will start at 1:pm. Race details will be available on Channel 72.
The cost is $20/boat. Cheap fun!!
Let myself or Mike Lancette (lancettemike@gmail.com) know if you can make it. If this is your first race this season, we'd like emailed registrations sent in ASAP. That will help with race organization.
This Club Race is open to all sailors and sailboats.
Cost is $20 payable at the 11:00am Skipper's meeting at the clubhouse along with a completed 2021 Race registration form.

The weather should be excellent. The race will be about 2 hours in duration. The course will be dictated by the afternoon winds!

This style race is fun for every sailor, every sailboat! Each skipper is assigned a start time based their boats’ potential performance rating (PHRF). The race decided by the order of finish. Cost is $20.00. The skipper’s meeting is at 11:00am in the LCYC Clubhouse, race starts at 1:00pm.

Here is an event we can all join in on! Commodore's Cup is focused on fun and frolic. Come out and "race". Enjoy an afternoon of sailing with fellow sailors and have a socially distanced "awards" ceremony on the deck after the "race".
There will be Skipper's meeting at 11am to register and get instructions on the course. The Race will start at 1:00pm.
A social hour and awards "ceremony" will be just prior to Rib Fest, approx. 5pm on the deck.

Day 1 Fall Series
The LCYC Fall Series is conducted over a four Saturday schedule. Racing will be primarily Windward/Leeward races conducted over defined courses. The Series races planned to include total of 7 races. There will be one distance race included.
A skippers meeting will be held at 9:30 am at the LCYC clubhouse.
First race will start at 11:30am
The LCYC Annual Meeting will be held September 10, 2022 at 5:00pm.
Day 2 Fall Series
Day 3 Fall Series Makeup Day if needed.
Come and race the final LCYC Regatta of 2022 season, the Hoyt Cup and it's Chili Feed. Racing occurs over 2 days Oct. 1st and 2nd. The regatta is a 4 race event. Expect w/l courses with varying total lengths.
This race series is open to all boats. Yachtmaster points will awarded to boats in the Yachtmaster racing series.
Skippers meeting will be held at 9:30am both Saturday and Sunday. Racing starts at 11:30am.
Chili feed is open to all LCYC members, guests and race crews. The meal starts at 5:00pm at the Clubhouse, featuring member-made chilies with all the fixings, salad and dessert. The beverages include beer, wine and NA drinks.

Come join in the one last Club Race of the 2022 season. The Fall Frolic is a great way to celebrate the beautiful Lake Pepin fall colors! The race will be a distance event, easy on crew and meant for enjoyment.
The cost is $20. A Skippers Meeting will be held at 11am at the clubhouse. Race starts at 1:00pm.

Saturday Oct. 15th is clean up and shut down day at the Yacht Club.
We need volunteers to help clean out the refrigerators and grills and do some general cleaning around the club for winter.
It shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours, so please come up and lend a hand.
The Annual Banquet will be held at the St. James Hotel in Red Wing.
Each meal is $45.
Please remember that the primary registrant is already included when selecting the number of additional guests. In other words, you would be selecting 1 additional meal to include your co-member for example.
